Find practical information about getting to the venue, parking, accessibility, arrival and registration details and dress code - this will help you plan your trip and enjoy the conference experience.
Travel and parking

From the Kapiti Coast / Porirua (West)
Head south on State Highway 1 (SH1), taking the Transmission Gully Motorway.
Continue onto the Wellington Urban Motorway (SH1) heading toward the City Centre.
Take the Vivian Street exit.
Turn left onto Taranaki Street and drive straight down to the waterfront.
The venue is at the corner of Taranaki Street and Cable Street in the historic Shed 22 building.
From the Hutt Valley (East)
Head south on State Highway 2 (SH2).
Merge onto the Wellington Urban Motorway (SH1) at the Ngauranga Interchange.
Follow SH1 to the Vivian Street exit.
Turn left onto Taranaki Street and continue until you reach the water.
The venue is at the corner of Taranaki Street and Cable Street in the historic Shed 22 building.

Exit the airport and follow signs for Wellington CBD / City Centre.
Continue along Cobham Drive (State Highway 1) beside the harbour.
Cobham Drive becomes Oriental Parade as you approach the city.
Continue straight onto Wakefield Street.
Turn left onto Taranaki Street.
The venue is at the corner of Taranaki Street and Cable Street in the historic Shed 22 building.

Getting to the venue from Wellington Airport
Wellington Airport is approximately 8 km from Harbourside Events Centre. The Airport Express bus service provides a convenient option, travelling between the airport and central Wellington. From the city, delegates can walk (approximately 10–15 minutes) or connect with local bus services to reach the Harbourside venue. Taxis and rideshare services are also available from the airport -

Harbourside Function Venue

Accessibility
Step-free access: Harbourside Function Centre entrances is at ground level and there is a lift which accesses all levels.
Accessible facilities: Accessible bathroom facilities are available within the venue on all levels.
Waterfront location: The venue is located on the Wellington waterfront, with a flat pedestrian route from nearby public transport stops and parking areas.
Parking and drop-off: there is no on-site parking available - however there is a ‘loading’ zone outside and an accessible 'paid' parking spot across from the main entrance. Outside of those options, the venue refers parking to Te Papa as it is close.
Support needs: If you have any accessibility requirements or need assistance during the conference, please let our team know when registering or contact us ahead of the event so we can support your participation.

Business casual: Our priority is that you feel comfortable and confident. Whether that means a blazer, a button-up shirt, a smart top, or your favourite conference-friendly outfit — come ready to connect, learn and enjoy the day.
